For A&P mechanics and IAs

The inspector scans it. It comes up green.

A tamper-evident logbook for iPhone and iPad. Every entry is signed on your device, and the printed code lets anyone check the signature on their own phone. No app, no account, no calling you to ask.

Coming to the App Store

Free to log and sign. Pro for packets, sync and labels.

How it works

Sign. Print. Scan.

Three steps, and the last one isn't yours.

1

Sign the entry on your phone or iPad

The 43.9 or 43.11 wording is prefilled. Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode confirms it's you, and a key that never leaves the Secure Enclave signs it.

2

Print the sticker or the packet

Avery label presets for the aircraft logbook, or an inspector-ready PDF. Both carry the code.

3

Anyone scans it

Their camera opens safetied.app and checks the signature against the hash inside the code. Green means it checks out; compare that hash with the one printed on the paper.

Built for the hangar

Everything the paper book did, and the parts it couldn't.

Today shows what needs attention: the Form 337 clock, expiring calibrations, entries waiting on a photo of the logbook page.

Offline-first

Works in a hangar with no signal. iCloud sync, with Pro, when you have one.

IA activity tracker

Annuals, majors and progressives counted against the April to March window, with the renewal countdown.

Form 337 countdowns

Every 337 with its 48-hour clock, so the FSDO copy never slips.

Inspector packets

Formatted PDFs with the seal, the code and a page footer that holds up on paper.

Append-only ledger

A signed entry is never edited in place. Corrections are new entries that reference the old one.

Apprentice experience log

Track 14 CFR 65.77 hours by subject area and have a supervisor countersign.

For Inspection Authorization holders

Know where you stand before March.

Four annuals, eight majors, a progressive, or the refresher course. The activity sheet and Form 8610-1 blocks export from the same screen.

Why an inspector can trust it

The proof doesn't depend on us.

The signature is made with a P-256 key that lives in your device's Secure Enclave. The verify page is a single static file that checks the signature against the hash in the code itself. No server, no database, no account. If safetied.app disappeared tomorrow, the code would still carry everything needed to check it.

Next annual, hand them something they can check.
